Mount Sunapee is the big mountain with the best snow, right in your backyard. While every mountain says they have great snow, we let the skiing and riding public do the talking. For the fourth year in a row Mount Sunapee was ranked with the best overall snow surfaces in the East in the annual SKI Magazine Reader Survey. All this great snow covers a mountain with more than 1,500 vertical feet of fun. Choose from 65 trails and slopes serviced by 10 lifts. There are 8 gladed trails, 3 dedicated bump runs and 3 terrain parks sculpted for all sizes and levels of bravado. The South Peak Learning Area is one of the best teaching facilities in New England.
Mount Sunapee defines family friendly. The spacious Learning Center puts everything a family needs under one roof: childcare, children's rental equipment, and Snow Stars (ages 4-7) and Mountain Explorers (ages 8-12), our popular half and full-day children's programs. You can even learn together as a family with our unique, award-winning Families First package.
