What is Ski NH?
Ski NH is New Hampshire’s not-for-profit, private ski area trade association representing 34 alpine and cross country ski resort members. We support our ski members in several ways:
Government Relations & Education
Ski NH serves as an advocacy organization for its resort members in legislative matters, and acts as a liaison between state and/or federal government agencies and the ski areas on topics that affect ski area businesses, including labor, environmental, and operational safety issues. Based on our members’ needs, we host meetings and seminars that provide opportunities for our members to discuss topics and keep up to date on issues that impact them.
Marketing & Promotion
Ski NH’s marketing efforts focus on promoting New Hampshire as a top ski and summer destination, and introducing visitors to our individual ski area members. We seek to foster a positive brand for skiing in the state, to work with our members and partners to promote day and overnight visits at our resorts, and to promote the sports of skiing and snowboarding in general. Our marketing efforts focus on trade and business partnerships, youth programming and learn-to activities, and market research data.
Membership & Networking Opportunities
Throughout the year, Ski NH promotes and/or develops opportunities for its ski area members to network with each other or with members of the government and other trade and hospitality groups.
Ski NH membership also includes associate members, which include suppliers to the industry, service providers, retailers, and restaurant and lodging properties from New Hampshire. We offer all members an opportunity to connect in person each year at our Annual Meeting & Trade Show, which typically takes place in early June.
