New Hampshire's only Aerial Tramway and North America's first!

Experience New Hampshire's highest lift accessed summit. At 4,080 feet you can walk the Rim Trail to the observation platform to see 4 states and Canada, enjoy a beer or cocktail from NH's highest bar or grab a bite to eat at Cafe 4080.

Cranmore Scenic Chairlift

Scenic chairlift rides are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Take a relaxing 7-minute ride to the top of the mountain on Cranmore’s four passenger summit chairlift. After reaching the top, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding Mount Washington Valley and prestigious Mount Washington from 2,000 feet.

Located at the summit, the historic Meister Hut restaurant is the perfect spot to kick back and relax. The Meister Hut offers a lunch menu, grab and go snacks and, and local craft beer. Riders can also pack a bagged lunch for a mountaintop picnic!

After exploring the peak, board the Skimobile Express Quad for a scenic chairlift ride back to the base area.

Scenic Lift Ride

Enjoy a leisurely 15-minute ride to the summit where you will disembark to take in the beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee, Mount Washington, the Belknap, Ossipee, Squam and Presidential mountain ranges. 

Explore our hiking trails from the top of the mountain or bring a picnic lunch! The chairlift will be ready to take you back to the base area to continue your adventures.

We also offer One-Way Scenic Lift Ride tickets for those who would prefer to hike up and ride down or ride up and hike down! Simply stop by the Gunstock ticket office before you set out!

Stop by The Patio Restaurant or the Snack Shack for food and spirits after a relaxing ride.
