Holiday Storms

Just had to do a post to talk up the fun weather pattern we're seeing come our way! We had a tough week in some places thanks to the ice storm, but all of our ski areas are back open and those problems are gone in the rear view mirror.

As I type this(Friday Dec. 19th 1PM) the snow should start falling any minute and hopefully the ski areas that saw the most problems from the ice storms may be the big winners from this storm with possibly around a foot of new snow. It sounds like a bit less as you move north through the state. This storm hopefully will ensure a white Christmas/holiday as well for everyone!

Keep an eye on the weather after that, Sunday's storm looks like it could be a big one, and then another is already lining up for right around Christmas Day. Really, it's all we could ask for. There should be an amazing amount of terrain available with soft snow on top!
