Bode Miller Wins 2007-08 World Cup Overall Title
New Hampshire's own Bode Miller has claimed the 2007-08 world cup overall title, his second. To those inside the ski racing world, this is the most respected title in the sport. He did so in the initial year of breaking away from the US Ski Team with whom he had longstanding differences. Team America was formed, and Bode was able to incorporate his beliefs in training, travel, and competition in a way that obviously worked very well for him.
Opinions on Bode's past behavior, performances, statements ,etc vary greatly, but I think most can agree he is one of (if not the) greatest male skier in United States history.
It will be interesting to see what he has to say to media over the next few days, and how his success this season will be portrayed in the media after their harsh treatment of him following the last Olympics. The next week could tell alot as to how his legacy will be known, regardless the results still speak for themselves.

in him so far as setting an example for my own kids. If he could turn that party ha
harty frat boy attitude around and be more like Brady the Pats quarterback
he would have my total admiration. As it stands I am no longer interested
in any events he participates in.
