The Clock is Ticking
Sadly the 2008-09 ski season is on life support. Normally that brings thoughts of a lack of snow, but as of now the base of snow is still pretty good for this time of year. It's the weather that has put a damper on the past few weeks. Persistent rainy, cool and cloudy weather have kept most skiers/riders off the slopes. All of the remaining open ski areas in New Hampshire (except Wildcat) plan to close after this weekend (April 12). You can look for Wildcat to push on for at least another week and who knows if the weather cooperates they said they'll be open into May!
Keep an eye on the forecast, hopefully there's one or two more days where the sun is shining and you can get in some final turns for another great winter! Just remember how much you'll miss it in a few months, it's worth one more shot if you can, or if Mother Nature allows!
