Programs for all ages, all season long, at Ski NH resorts
Keeping kids happy, even on a vacation, can be a real challenge -- but it's easy at any of Ski NH's kid-friendly winter resorts. The programs and activities for winter fun at these resorts have plenty of options for kids of all ages - from little tykes to teens. Programs for younger skiers combine personal attention, safety, and instruction along with the opportunity to make new friends on the slope. For older kids and teens, there's the exciting world of halfpipes, terrain parks, snowtoys, night skiing, snowtubing and fun events to enter or watch. At Ski NH winter resorts, family members can do their own thing, depending on age, ability, and interest, while at the same time building great family memories of being together for winter fun.

Please note - Programs usually include a lesson & the appropriate lift ticket. Full-day programs generally include lunch. Some full-day programs include rental equipment in the price of the program, but for most programs, there is an additional charge if your child needs a rental ski or snowboard package.

The programs below are primarily one-day programs or short-term school vacation programs. All areas also offer seasonal programs that meet once a week or every weekend & during holiday periods; if you spend most of your time at one ski area during the winter, visit the area's website to get those details.

Attitash, Bartlett

Adventure Kids Skiers & Low Riders Snowboarders are geared for kids ages 7-12. The programs work on skills from learning to ski and ride to mogul skiing and terrain park riding. Cost: full day $79; full day with rental equipment $94; half day $59; half day with rental equipment $74.
Kids ages 4-6 can enjoy Buddy Bear Kids with half and full day programs focusing on fun-filled adventures. Cost: full day $79; full day with rental equipment $94; half day $59; half day with rental equipment $74.
Tiny Turns is for children ages 3-5 and introduces them to fun on the snow through a one-on-one private clinic. Cost: full day $79; $65 if enrolled in Attitash day care for one half day).
Day care is available for kids ages 6 months-6 years old. Cost: full day $65; half day $40.

The Balsams Wilderness, Dixville Notch

Wind Whistle Ski/Snowboard Camp is for kids ages 7-13. Cost: $43 for 1 1/2 hour program, $63 for three hour program (two sessions)
Wind Whistle Snow Farm is for kids ages 4-6. Cost: $43 for 1 1/2 program; program available as a.m. session only.
Tiny Turns Private Lesson is for children ages 3-4. Cost: $43 for 1 hour lesson.
Day care is available in a well-equipped play room in the alpine base lodge, and welcomes children no longer in diapers. Limited space is available.

Black Mountain, Jackson

Kids ages 7-12 can enjoy the Black Bear program. Cost: $79 half day (10a-noon); $20 afternoon upgrade.
The Black Bear Cub daily program is offered for kids ages 4-6 years old. Cost: $79 half day (10a-noon); $20 afternoon upgrade.
Day care is also available. Cost: $30 half day; $45 full day with lunch; $8/hour (2 hour minimum).

Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods

The Hobbit Ski Program is a daily program for ages 4-12 that places children in groups based on ability, and works on improving their skiing and riding in a fun environment. Cost: full day $115; full day with rental equipment $130; half day $85; half day with rental equipment $100; 2 hour lesson $50.
The Hobbit Snowboard Program is a daily program for ages 6-12 that places children in groups based on ability, and works on improving their skiing and riding in a fun environment. Cost: full day $115; full day with rental equipment $130; half day $85; half day with rental equipment $100; 2 hour lesson $50.
The Hobbit Ski & Snowplay Program is a daily program for ages 3-5 that includes nursery supervision, group lessons & rental equipment. Cost: full day $115; half day $85.
The Babes in the Woods Nursery is available for ages 2 months-5 years. Cost: full day $85; half day $55; $15/hour (2 hour minimum).
The Family Interchangeable Ticket allows mom and dad to share babysitting duties and take turns hitting the slopes.

Cannon Mountain, Franconia Notch

Mountain Explorers is a full- or half-day instructional program for kids ages 8-12. Children are grouped according to age & ability. Cost: full day $89; full day with rental equipment $105; half day $67; half day with rental equipment $84. Multi-day discounts are available.
Cannon Kids is a daily instructional program for kids ages 4-7. Children are grouped according to age & ability. Cost: full day $89; full day with rental equipment $105; half day $67; half day with rental equipment $84. Multi-day discounts are available.
Day care is available for ages 6 weeks and older. Cost: full day with lunch $67; half day $40; $13/hour (2 hour minimum). If your toddler is old enough to ski but not old enough for Cannon Kids, you can purchase a full day day care with skiing for $95, or a half day day care with skiing for $84.

Cranmore, North Conway

Adventure Camp is geared towards skiers & snowboarders, ages 8-14, and includes rental equipment. Cost: full day $109; Add-a-Camp (Sunday a.m. lesson only, non-holiday): $59

I Wanna Snowboard is a one hour private snowboard program for ages 5-7, and includes rental equipment. Cost: $70.
I Wanna Ski is a one hour private ski program for ages 3-5, and includes rental equipment. Cost: $70.
Penguin Park Day Care is available for ages 3 months-5 years. Cost: full day $65; half day $40; $15/hour.

Crotched Mountain, Bennington

Kids' Snow Camp for kids ages 4-12 includes all-day supervision and ski or snowboard lessons and is available on weekends and holidays. Cost: full day $79; full day with rental equipment: $104; half day $69; half day with rental equipment $94

Granite Gorge, Keene

Group lessons are available for all skiers & snowboarders age 5 and older. Lessons are offered at 11 and 1p every weekend and selected holiday weeks. Classes are grouped according to age & ability. Cost: $25.
Snow Camps at Granite Gorge, for ages 5-12, are full day lessons offered February 16-18 and February 23-25. Cost is $75/day or $90/day with rental equipment.

Gunstock Mountain Resort, Gilford

Base Camp programs offer specifically designed programs for each age group.

Camp IV - Elevation 8,000-13,000 feet is for ages 8-13. Half and full day programs provide lots of skiing or riding time. Cost: full day $84; half day $74; rental equipment $20 additional; six pack of full day lessons $410; six pack of half day lessons $360; six pack of rentals $100.
Sick Trick Camp is for ages 8+. Learn new tricks or stick those you've been working on, with the help of coaches in the Blundersmoke Terrain Park. Camp II - Elevation 4,000-5,000 feet for ages 4-5 is a full day program that offers an opportunity to be on snow in the morning and enjoy the day care atmosphere during the afternoon. Cost: $85; rental equipment $20 additional; six pack of lessons $425; six pack of rentals $100.
Camp I - Elevation 3,000 feet for 3 year olds is a full day program that focuses on fun. Cost: $74; rental equipment $20 additional; six pack of lessons $360; six pack of rentals $100.
Child care is available for ages 6 months & older. Cost for 6 months-3 years: full day $54; half day $44; $16/hour (minimum 2 hours); six pack of full day care $260; six pack of half day care $210. King Pine, East Madison

Knee-Hi Learn-To-Ski and Learn-To-Snowboard Packages include an all-day beginner lift ticket, all-day rentals and one group lesson. Ski & snowboard lessons are available for ages 8-12 for $53; learn to ski lessons are available for ages 4-7 for $37.
Novice or Intermediate Lessons include a group lesson & all-day/all-lift ticket for $28; novice or intermediate packages include a group lesson, all-day/all-lift ticket and a full day of rentals; cost is $66 for ages 6-12 and $37 for ages 4-5.
King Pine Day Camp, for ages 4-7, all abilities, is available on Saturdays, Sundays & holiday periods. All day camp includes a morning & afternoon lesson and rentals for $95; half day camp includes a morning or afternoon lesson and rentals for $55.
Cub Club Nursery is available for infants-age 6. Cost: full day $40; $9/hour (2 hour minimum); $2/day surcharge for infants.
King Pine Ski Camp is offered over the February vacation week and is the longest running ski camp in the country. Kids ski and ride during the day including on-snow classes and have nights filled with activities while staying in dorm accomodations.

Loon Mountain, Lincoln

Peak Achievers is for for skiers and riders of all abilities, ages 13-17 . Cost: full day lift/lesson/rental $155; full day lift/lesson: $130; full day lesson only: $85; half day lift/lesson/rental: $135; half day lift/lesson: $110; half day lesson only: $70.
Freestyle Progression Camp is a full-day program offered on Saturdays & Sundays for skiers and riders ages 10-17 who want to optimize their park and pipe experience. Cost: lift/lesson/lunch: $135; lesson/lunch: $120

Kinder Bear Camp includes a two-hour lesson in the morning and another two-hour lesson in the afternoon. It's for skiers & snowboarders ages 4-6 and all ability levels. Cost: full day $115; half day morning lift/lesson/lunch $95; half day afternoon lift/lesson: $85; rental equipment $20 additional.
P.K. Boo Bear Camp offers up to one hour of on hill time in the morning & one hour of on hill time in the afternoon. Program is for 3 year olds only. Cost: full day $115; half day morning lift/lesson/lunch: $95; half day afternoon lift/lesson: $85; rental equipment $20 additional.
Day care includes age-appropriate games & activities, as well as a quiet area for naps, for ages 6 weeks-6 years. Cost: full day $70; half day $60.

McIntyre Ski Area, Manchester

Little Macs Vacation offers the ideal learning environment for young skiers, ages 4-6. The vacation program offers five consecutive days, with a one hour lesson each day, from February 22-26. Class can be taken from 12:30-1:30p or 2-3p. Cost: $125; rental equipment is $50 additional.
Ski & Snowboard Vacation Program offers a perfect way to enjoy school vacation. The week-long offers five consecutive days of two-hour lessons, including one hour of free ski or ride time once an appropriate level (Level 3) has been reached. Students starting at Level 4 (or higher) will have free ski or ride time during the first hour and lessons the second hour, depending on session and class size. Class runs from 9:30-11:30a from February 22-26. Cost: $130; rental equipment is $60 additional.
Learn to teaches kids how to turn, stop and ride the beginner lift. Package includes one 1-hour group lesson, rental equipment & beginner area lift ticket. Classes are offered on Saturdays & Sundays. Cost: $49.

Mount Sunapee, Newbury

Mountain Explorers is designed for 8-12 year olds and is offered as a half day or full day program. It includes an all-mountain lift ticket, ski or snowboard lesson (two lessons in the full day) and equipment rentals. Cost: full day $120; half day $90; beginner lesson with learning area lift ticket $80. Multi-day discounts are available.
Snow Stars Program is designed for 4-7 year olds and is offered as a half day or full day program. Snowboard lessons are available for those age 6 years & older. It includes an all-mountain lift ticket, a lesson & equipment rentals. Cost: full day $110; half day $80. Multi-day discounts are available.
The Tag-A-Long Program allows a parent to join a private lesson for his/her 3-4 year old and learn the methods of teaching that instructors use in order to be able to reinforce the lesson during future ski days. Cost for one 3-4 year old and one parent: $99.
Families First allows families to learn how to ski and snowboard together in the same class. Family members must be at least 8 years old. Program includes a two-hour introductory ski or snowboard lesson, rental equipment and learning area lift ticket; cost: $80. Families can then choose to purchase Day 2 & 3 for $80 ($40 per day), with lesson, equipment & lift tickets, as well as a drawing for a new helmet and a free Mount Sunapee Flex Card, offering discounts on lift tickets and rentals for the remainder of the season.
Mother Goose Childcare is available for ages 1-5. Combination packages are also available, which include child care and a one hour private lesson for your 3 or 4 year old. Cost: full day weekend/holiday $70; full day midweek $50; half day weekend/holiday $50; half day midweek $30; full day weekend/holiday with lesson $100; full day midweek with lesson $80; half day weekend/holiday with lesson $80; half day midweek with lesson $60.

Pats Peak, Henniker

Bear's Club is for ages 6-14; it's available on weekends and holidays. Cost: full day $95; half day $75
Group lesson for ages 6+ is also available. Cost: $25
Starter Special is for the first time skier or snowboarder, ages 6+. Program includes beginner group lesson, rental equipment and full day lift ticket to the Valley beginner area. This is a four day program where you purchase the Starter Special Package on three separate days and then on the fourth day, purchase an all day/all mountain lift ticket to get your season pass good for the rest of the season at Pats Peak.
Cub's Club is for ages 3-5 with nursery care, outdoor play and an introduction to skiing; it's available on weekends and holidays. Cost: full day $80; half day $60. Multi-day kids program vouchers are available.
Cub's Club Nursery is available for ages 4 months-6 years. Cost: $72/day, $12/hour
School Vacation Camp is a program for ages 6-13, all abilities. School vacation weeks are a great time for kids to come out, spend some time on the slopes, have fun with other kids and enjoy some great winter exercise. Camps are 6 hours/day, 9:30a-3:30p for three consecutive days and include lunch. Limited space available. Camp dates are February 15-17 and February 22-24. Cost: 3 day camp, lunch & lift tickets $225; 3 day rental equipment $30; 3 day helmet rental $25.

Ragged Mountain, Danbury

The Kids Adventure Camp program offers full & half day programs for all abilities. If you are planning on being at Ragged Mountain Resort for two or more days in a row & you'd like your child to continue in the Adventure Camp program, save money with the Add a Day option. Cost: second or third full day $59, second or third half day $39.

Rookie Rangers and Mountain Riders are for first-time skiers or snowboarders, ages 7-12. Cost: full day $89; half day $59.
Kids ages 4-6 can take part in Ragged Rangers, developed especially for beginner & intermediate skiers. Cost: full day $89; half day $59.
Mighty Moose Ski Program is for 3 year olds. Your child is picked up and returned to the nursery by his/her instructor. Program includes up to two hours of skiing (one hour in the morning, one hour in the afternoon). Cost: full day $79; half day $49.
Moosery Day Care offers enrichment activities, games and lots of fun. Cost: full day $55; half day $30; $12/hour (2 hour minimum).

Waterville Valley, Waterville Valley

Kids Venture Kamps are day groups for all ability levels. Add-a-day options offer savings on multi-day packages.

Scouts offers a full day of skiing and riding enjoyment and learning for ages 7-12. Cost: full day $89; reserve two days $161 (save $17); rental equipment is $22 additional and lift tickets must be purchased separately.
Explorers offers a morning and/or afternoon lesson for ages 4-6. Cost: full day $89; reserve two days $161 (save $17); half day $77; rental equipment is $22 additional and lift ticket must be purchased separately.
Mogul Mites is a program designed to introduce 3 year olds to the fun of skiing and being outside on the mountain. Cost: full day $89; reserve two days $161 (save $17); half day $77; rental equipment is $22 additional.
First Trails enables families to enjoy learning a new sport together. It's designed for parents and children ages 7-12 who have never skied or snowboarded before. The package includes rental equipment, a learning area lift ticket and a two hour beginner lesson. Cost: $400 for up to 4 family members, $80 for each additional family member.
Trail Along is for parents who want to take part in their child's learning and snow time. During this one hour private lesson, parents are allowed to trail along with their child and instructor, and receive valuable information on how to safely learn on the mountain. This program is most appropriate for families with children ages 4-8. Cost: peak periods (10a-noon) $129; off peak $105.
A nursery is available for ages 6 months-4 years. Cost: full day $78; reserve two days $140 (save $16); half day $63; $25/hour.
Love Sundays with the Waterville Valley Snowsports School with these special offers: Children age 7-12 get a two hour group lesson for that day for $20 (regular price $41), either at the 10am or 1:30p session; kids age 3-12 receive 30% off Kids Kamp - full price is $89, so with a 30% discount, it's $62 (does not include rentals or lift tickets). Valid every Sunday except January 17 and February 14.

Wildcat Mountain, Pinkham Notch

The Lion's Den program is available for kids ages 4-12 for skiing, and kids ages 8-12 for snowboarding. Cost: full day $89; full day if rentals are not needed $79; half day $69; half day if rentals are not needed $59.
