LIFT TICKETS SAVINGS
NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH, OCTOBER 2009- This winter Ski NH winter resorts offer more ways than ever for skiers and snowboarders to ski and save. With some pre-planning, guests can find some great ways to save on the price of lift tickets, lessons, and rentals. And, at almost every Ski NH winter resort, children age 5 and younger ski free. Listed below are a sampling of deals, values, and bargains you'll find this winter. Be sure to keep checking the Great Deals section at SkiNH.com for regular updates to these offers as well as new deals as ski areas announce them.
Black Mountain, Jackson
• Family Passport - Lift tickets for two parents and two juniors (ages 6-17) are $99 any day and $79 midweek, non-holiday.
• Black Monday - Local full-time residents ski or ride for only $15 on non-holiday Mondays.
• Girls Day Out - Ladies ski or ride on every non-holiday Tuesday for $20 and receive a coupon package for local businesses. Add lunch for $5.
• Wednesday Half-Day - Ski or ride half day on Wednesdays (12:30-4pm) for $15.
• Breakfast Club - Skiers and riders age 55 and older ski all day on Thursday for $20, and receive breakfast and a Black Mountain travel mug.
• Carroll County Sunday Afternoons - Residents of Carroll County, NH, ski or ride on Sundays after 12:30pm for $10; valid ID is required.
Bretton Woods Ski Area, Bretton Woods
• Two-for-One Wednesdays - Two people can ski or ride for the price of one regular midweek lift ticket on non-holiday Wednesdays.
Cranmore Mountain, North Conway
• Online 2-fer-1 - Get two lift tickets for the price of one by buying lift tickets online for any Monday-Thursday, non-holiday.
• Add-a-Day - Save on your second day of skiing or riding. Present your lift ticket before 4pm and purchase a ticket for the next day at savings of up to 30%.
• Hybrid Vehicle Days - Come to Cranmore on January 23 or March 20 in your hybrid vehicle and receive one free lift ticket per car.
• After 2, Tomorrow Too - Purchase a lift ticket or rental package after 2pm and get that day and the following day for the price of a single lift ticket or rental package.
• Weekender Ticket - Buy a 2-day, non-holiday Saturday-Sunday lift ticket online and save $5 off the already discounted price.
• Boston Ski Show 3-day Ticket - Visit the Cranmore booth at the Boston Ski Show to purchase three days of skiing, non-consecutive, non-transferable, valid any day, for $99.
• Wax and Tune - Purchase 5 equipment tunes for $80, the price of 4 tunes. Product is transferable.
• Super Slider Ticket - Guests of all ages can enjoy night skiing (2-8pm), two hours of snowtubing, and two hour Fun Zone admission for $49. Valid every Saturday night from December 26-March 13, plus New Year's Eve and Feb. 17 from 2pm until closing.
• Free Fridays - Buy a three day lift ticket online in advance for a non-holiday Friday-Sunday and get Friday's ticket for free.
• Kids Ski Free on their Birthdays - Register your child's birthday online at Cranmore.com to get a free lift ticket for that day. Enjoy a special birthday party with C-more the Penguin every Saturday at 4:30pm with cupcakes, birthday hats, balloons and more. Valid for ages 6-12 with proof of birth date and registration at least 48 hours in advance.
Crotched Mountain, Bennington
• Tuesday College Night - College students ski or ride for only $19 on Tuesday nights from 5-9pm with a valid student ID.
• Two-fer Tuesday - Two people ski or ride for only $22 per person all day on Tuesdays.
• Family Fun Sunday - From 2:30-5pm every Sunday, lift tickets are $19 with $10 rentals and $10 tips from the pros.
• End of Day Snowpass - Monday through Thursday, ski or ride from 7-9pm for $19.
• Freedom Friday College Night - College students ski or ride 5pm-3am for only $29 with a valid student ID.
• Military Special - Active military personnel and family can buy $39 lift tickets and a $59 ticket, rental, lesson package from 9am-5pm every day; ID is required.
Granite Gorge, Keene
• Ticket Packs - Purchase lift tickets in ten, fifteen, and twenty packs with increasing discounts.
Great Glen Trails, Pinkham Notch
• Trails Total Ticket - The new Total Trails Ticket, known as T3, includes cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowtubing, access to the climbing wall and a ride on the SnowCoach up Mt. Washington. The T3 ticket costs $69 for adults and $49 for juniors, ages 5-12.
King Pine and Purity Spring Resort, East Madison
• Two-for-One Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - Get two lift tickets for the price of one on non-holiday Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
• Moonlight Family 4-Pack - Two adults and two children can ski or ride Saturday nights (or holiday nights) from 4-9 pm for just $49.
• Weekender Pass - Purity Spring Resort and Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort guests can buy one pass good for skiing and riding from Friday at 4pm through Sunday at 4pm for $78 for adults and $54 for juniors. Guests must have advance reservations and must be reserved with 24 hours notice; not valid during holiday periods.
• Sunday Afternoons - After 12:30pm on non-holiday Sundays, adults can ski and ride for $20 and juniors can ski or ride for $14.
• Multi-day Savings - Guests who want to ski the next day can do so for $34 for adults and $24 for juniors. Just bring that day's lift ticket to Guest Services before the close of business that day to get a discounted ticket for the next day.
• Frequent Skier Cards - Save 20% off regular, full-price, all-day lift tickets, non-transferable, limited to one use per day. Cards are for sale until Christmas and cost $29 for adults (ages 13 and older) and $19 for juniors (ages 6-12).
Mount Sunapee, Newbury
• Magic Monday - Ski or ride non-holiday Mondays for $42.
• Ladies Day Tuesday - On non-holiday Tuesdays, ladies receive a lift ticket and luncheon buffet for $49; childcare is available for half-price.
• Twofer Wednesday - Every non-holiday Wednesday, two lift tickets cost the price of one ($64).
• Free Lunch Thursday - Purchase a full-price, all-day lift ticket and receive a $12 voucher for lunch at any of Mount Sunapee's food outlets.
• New Hampshire Resident Sunday Special - New Hampshire residents with proof of residency can get a lift ticket on non-holiday Sunday afternoons (noon-4pm) for $38.
• Flex Card - The card entitles its holder to 25-50% off lift tickets seven days a week, along with $10 off equipment rentals and ski/snowboard workshops. Cards cost $99 for adults, $89 for ages 13-18, $79 for ages 6-12, $89 for ages 65-69, and $79 for ages 70+. Cards must be purchased by 11/15/09.
• 6-Pack - Pre-purchase six unrestricted, single, full-day lift tickets for the price of five. All six tickets can be used daily until 12/25/09 and after 3/8/10; between 12/26/09 and 3/8/10, two tickets can be used daily. Cost is $340 for adults, $280 for ages 13-18, $210 for ages 6-12, $280 for ages 65-69, and $210 for ages 70+; save $10 if purchased by 11/15/09.
• Online Specials - For adults who purchase a full-price, all-day ticket Sunday-Friday, up to two children ages 6-18 can ski or ride for half price. Online coupon is required; check mtsunapee.com for available dates; holidays are excluded.
• Bring the Grandchildren - Guests age 60+ who purchase a full-price, full-day lift ticket can bring a grandchild (ages 6-18) for half price. Offer is not valid during holiday periods; one grandchild per paying grandparent.
Pats Peak, Henniker
• POP (Pay One Price) - Saturday nights from December 26 through the end of the season, guests can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing (5-10pm), rental equipment, lesson tips, entertainment, and more from 3-10pm for $39 for all ages.
Ski NH, North Woodstock
• Anywhere, Anytime Ticket Packages - The packages consist of fully transferable lift tickets valid any day during the 2009-10 ski season, including holidays and weekends, with no blackout dates. Skiers and snowboarders can customize a mix of lift tickets to their favorite ski areas; tickets are broken down into five price categories of $25, $30, $42, $52, and $60 per ticket. Packages begin at a minimum of 12 lift tickets, with no more than 50% of the tickets from one ski area. Visit SkiNH.com for details or to order.
• 4th grade Earn Your Turns Program - To participate in the program, fourth graders complete an assignment or extra credit project related to the history of skiing and riding in New Hampshire. Teachers then submit student names and they receive a coupon book with a lift ticket and trail pass to every Ski NH member area, along with other discounts for 4th graders, their parents and siblings.
• 5th grade Snowsports Passport Program - To receive the 5th grade coupon book, complete an application, submit a copy of the fifth grader's report card, and include a $20 processing fee ($5 of it is donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of NH). The book consists of 1-3 lift tickets and trail passes to every Ski NH member area, along with other discounts for fifth graders, their parents and siblings.
Waterville Valley, Waterville Valley
• Buy it Online - Buy your lift ticket 48 hours in advance online and save $10 off the regular price for downhill tickets and $2 for cross country tickets.
• $12 Sunday Kids Tickets - Kids 12 and younger can ski or ride on non-holiday Sundays for $12.
• St. Patrick's Day - Ski or ride for $17 on March 17.
• April Fool's Day - Ski or ride for $1 on April 1, no joke!
Wildcat Mountain, Pinkham Notch
• Two for One Wednesdays - Get two lift tickets for the price of one ($65) on non-holiday Wednesdays.
• Next Day $39 - Ski or ride your next day for only $39 with no blackout dates.
• $25 Sunday Afternoons - Ski or ride non-holiday Sunday afternoons for only $25.
• $9 Fridays - Visit Wildcat on December 18, January 22, February 26, and March 26; lift tickets are $9. Next day tickets for $39 can be combined with this offer.
