The largest and oldest (since 1888) trail system in the Eastern U.S. Named 2006 Best Cross Country Skiing in New England by Boston Magazine. "Out-the door" trails lead from inn-to-inn and to a dozen restaurants, with magnificent vistas of the Presidential Range, wide-open fields, and the Ellis River. Nearby are sleigh rides, ice skating, restaurants, and dozens of quaint New England inns. First timers can try the "Get 4 and Go" learn to ski packages.
