The Tramway takes visitors up 2,180 vertical feet to the summit of Cannon Mountain to enjoy panoramic views of four states and Canada. Located adjacent to the Tramway base is the New England Ski Museum and Franconia Notch Recreation Path. Guests can also enjoy the Flume Gorge, The Basin, and the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site, all located in Franconia Notch State Park. WINTER INFORMATION (2013-14):

Cannon is a legend among skiers and riders in the Northeast not only for its terrain, but for its striking natural beauty and affordability.  SKI Magazine’s Reader Survey recently voted Cannon the #1 Value in the East.  Guests will find a recently-added double chair at neighboring Mittersill Ski Area.  While best known for its superb expert terrain, Cannon also offers the Tuckerbrook Family Area, ideal for learning and developing skills on thirteen trails and glades for beginners and lower intermediate skiers.  This makes Cannon a great place to learn to ski with a wide variety of programs for both children and adults.  Guests will be greeted by snowmaking improvements and other trail improvements.
