Come on up to Granite Gorge Ski Area, located in southwest New Hampshire, directly on Route 9 in Keene, Exit 3 Brattleboro off Interstate 91. With its North Face, protection from the wind, 525-foot vertical drop, ability to hold snow, and affordable prices, Granite Gorge is a place to check out this season. Now known worldwide for its signature VW bus, the GG Terrain Park crew will be building exciting challenges on their top to bottom terrain parks. Granite Gorge has incredible natural snowmaking for superior top-to-bottom snow and grooming conditions. The summit chairlift, Pinnacle Express, provides a beautiful five-minute ride to the top, and the diverse trails are never crowded. The CB-1 Handle Tow services the easier terrain of Bunny Buster and the BB Terrain Park. The Glider Park, serviced by the Blue Dot Wondercarpet lift, is the perfect learning terrain. Enjoy New England’s best tubing park. The Gorge features a 12-kilometer Nordic skiing trail with snowshoeing available. For the 2011–12 season, Granite Gorge has not increased any lift ticket prices, including tubing.
