The Ski NH Outdoor Sports Forecast is provided by the Mt. Washington Observatory.  Located on the summit of NH's Mt. Washington, the observatory has been forecasting weather for outdoor enthusiasts in New Hampshire since 1932!

Forecast Discussion

High pressure will remain over the region today keeping skies fair, winds low, and temperatures slight above normal. As the high slides offshore overnight, a low will approach from the west spreading clouds back in over the region. Clear skies and low winds will once again allow for the formation of fog in sheltered areas of the north. The incoming low will keep skies generally cloudy on Thursday and a few showers might be possible by the afternoon after some daytime heating. For the remainder of the week, the state will be in a holding pattern with a ridge of high pressure to our northeast and a frontal boundary to our southwest that will allow several weak disturbances to pass. As a result, the region will continue to see mild late summer temperatures, variable amounts of clouds and possibly some stray showers on nearly a daily basis into next week.
