NEW HAMPSHIRE SKI RESORTS OFFER VARIETY OF SPECIALS ON LIFT TICKETS

 

 NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH, OCTOBER 2008- This winter Ski NH winter resorts offer more ways than ever for skiers and snowboarders to ski and save.  With some pre-planning, guests can find some great ways to save on the price of lift tickets, lessons, and rentals.  And, at almost every Ski NH winter resort, children age 5 and younger ski free.  

Listed below are a sampling of deals, values, and bargains you'll find this winter.  Be sure to keep checking the Great Deals section at SkiNH.com for regular updates to these offers as well as new deals as ski areas announce them.   

Black Mountain, Jackson

·         The Family Passport includes lift tickets for two parents and two juniors (ages 6-17) for $99 any day and $79 midweek, non-holiday.


Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods

·         Ski and Stay packages at the Mount Washington Hotel include free skiing for kids ages 12 and younger, free night skiing on Fridays, and 2-for-1 tickets on the day of arrival.


Cannon Mountain, Franconia Notch

·         Two-for-One Tuesdays and Thursdays - Two people can ski or ride for $64 on non-holiday Tuesdays and Thursdays.

·         New Hampshire Resident Wednesdays - New Hampshire residents with valid ID can ski or ride non-holiday Wednesdays for $30.

·         Big Game Special - Get two lift tickets for $64 on Super Bowl Sunday.


Cranmore Mountain, North Conway

·         Snow Train Weekend - On Friday, January 9, 2009, lift tickets will be only $3.30 to celebrate the original snow trains rolling into North Conway. 

·         Online 2-fer-1 - Get two lift tickets for the price of one by buying lift tickets online for any Monday-Thursday, non-holiday.

·         Add-a-Day - Save on your second day of skiing or riding.  Present your lift ticket before 4pm and purchase a ticket for the next day at savings of up to 30%.

·         Hybrid Vehicle Days - Come to Cranmore on January 24 or March 21 in your hybrid vehicle and receive one free lift ticket per car.

·         After 2, Tomorrow Too - Purchase a lift ticket or rental package after 2pm and get that day and the following day for the price of a single lift ticket.


Crotched Mountain, Bennington

·         SnoCard - The SnoCard is a debit card to be used at Crotched; guests save up to 38% off regular prices with the purchase of a $199 card.


Dartmouth Skiway, Lyme Center

·         Holiday Weekender - Ski two consecutive weekend or holiday days for $65 for adults, $50 for teens and $40 for children ages 6-12.


Granite Gorge, Keene

·         Friday Special - Every Friday get two hours of skiing and riding for free.  Pay for four hours, ski for six.  Pay for six hours, ski for eight.


Great Glen Trails, Pinkham Notch

·         Trails Total Ticket - The new Total Trails Ticket known as T3 includes xc skiing and snowshoeing, snowtubing, access to the climbing wall and a ride on the SnowCoach up Mt. Washington.  The T3 tickets cost $65 ($103 value) for adults and $45 ($79 value) for juniors, ages 5-12.


Gunstock, Gilford

·         Baker's Dozen - Purchase 13 lift tickets for $599 for adults, $493 for teens (ages 13-19), and $398 for children (ages 6-12) and seniors (ages 65+).

·         6-Pack - Purchase six lift tickets for $299 for adults, $249 for teens (ages 13-19), and $204 for children (ages 6-12) and seniors (ages 65+).

·         Wall-to-Wall Wednesday Nights - Non-holiday Wednesday nights are all-inclusive, including skiing, riding and tubing for $25 all ages.

·         Gunstock Rocks Saturday Nights - Non-holiday Saturday nights are all-inclusive, including skiing, riding and tubing for $30 all ages.


King Pine, East Madison

·         Two-for-One Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - Get two lift tickets for the price of one on non-holiday Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

·         Saturday Night Family Deal - Two adults and two children can ski or ride Saturday nights from 4-9 pm for just $45.


Mount Sunapee, Newbury

·         Magic Monday - Ski or ride non-holiday Mondays for $40.

·         Ladies Day Tuesday - On non-holiday Tuesdays ladies receive a lift ticket and luncheon buffet for $46; childcare is available for half-price.

·         Twofer Wednesday - Every non-holiday Wednesday, two lift tickets cost the price of one ($62). 

·         Surf n' Save Thursday - On non-holiday Thursdays visit mountsunapee.com for varying specials.  Print out the coupon and save.

·         New Hampshire Resident Sunday Special - New Hampshire residents with proof of residency can get a lift ticket on non-holiday Sunday afternoons (noon - 4pm) for $32.

·         Flex Card - The card entitles its holder to 25-50% off lift tickets seven days a week, along with discounts on equipment rentals and ski/snowboard workshops.  Cards cost $99 for adults, $89 for ages 13-18, $79 for ages 6-12, $89 for ages 65-69, and $79 for ages 70+.

·         6-Pack - Pre-purchase six unrestricted, single, full-day lift tickets for the price of five.  All six tickets can be used daily until 12/20/08 and after 3/8/09; between 12/20/08 and 3/8/09, two tickets can be used daily.

·         Bring the Grandchildren - Guests age 60+ who purchase a full-price, full-day lift ticket can bring a grandchild (age 6-18) for half price.  Offer is not valid during holiday periods; one free grandchild per paying grandparent.

·         Free Introduction to Skiing/Riding - From opening day at the South Peak Learning Area until December 24, 2008, beginner skiers and riders ages 8 and older will receive a free learn to ski/ride package.

·         Mobil Ski-3 - For every three fill-ups of at least eight gallons at participating Mobil dealers throughout New England, the purchaser will receive $10 off an adult, young adult or junior lift ticket.  Beginners can use the voucher towards a $25 learn to ski/ride program.  Offer is valid Sunday-Friday, non-holiday. 


Pats Peak, Henniker

·         POP (Pay One Price) - Saturday nights from December 27 through the end of the season, guests can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, rentals, lesson tips, entertainment, bonfires, and more from 3-10pm for $36 for all ages.


Waterville Valley, Waterville Valley

·         Ski Mondays and Fridays 2 for 1 and Spin the Wheel - Starting January 9, on non-holiday Mondays and Fridays, guests get 2 for 1 lift tickets and can spin the wheel to win prizes including a $5 lift ticket, a snowsports lesson, a slice of pizza and more.

·         Buy it Online - Buy your lift ticket 48 hours in advance online and save $10 off the regular price for downhill tickets and $2 for cross country tickets.

·         St. Patrick's Day - Ski or ride for $17 on March 17.

·         April Fool's Day - Ski or ride for $1 on April 1, no joke!


Wildcat Mountain, Pinkham Notch

·         Two for One Wednesdays - Get two lift tickets for the price of one on non-holiday Wednesdays.

·         Next Day $39 - Ski or ride your next day for only $39 with no blackout dates.
