The series consists of eight weeks of timed runs with participants’ (6) best age-graded times selected for series-end standings. Or, join the untimed division just to get out each week and enjoy the trails. Whether you are a returning racer, just getting into racing or an ex-olympian, this is the race league for you. Teams of four people will race each week (one team member must be of the opposite sex). If a member of your team is unable to make it, a substitute may be used. This is a head-to-head race, with teams racing side-by-side each week. Teams have the opportunity to accumulate a maximum of 8 points per night. Great Glen Outfitters carries most of the items that will be featured during Demo Day, and the staff will be available to help with packages and sizing and to answer any additional questions. 16 Park Affair Rail Jam Park Affair Rail Jam All Day Park Affair is dropping into McIntyre Parks with a women’s only rail jam on Sunday January 15th from 12:00 to 4:00pm – A Grand In Your Hand! Registration gets you: Lift Ticket & Entry into the “Grand in your Hand” Comp. First 50 to register get a registration gift! There will be 3 Groups. Each Group will get a dedicated jam session, about 1 hour long. There will be an experienced judging panel that will decide the winners in each group! Group C competes for Cash Group A and B compete for high level prizes! All ability levels and Groms Welcome After you enter you will receive an email from Park Affair asking what group you would like to enter. Group A Groms, Group B Just having fun, Group C Open. Tuesday Uphill Nights Tuesday Uphill Nights 6:30pm - 8:00pm Whaleback is excited to bring back our Tuesday Night Uphill Race League with some new options! New this year: A casual group tour! You can now opt to join the timed race league or join the group tour for a casual night of meeting new people that are into this wonderful sport. Group Tour: Each week will feature a new suggested route which will range from beginner to intermediate skill level. You will join new friends as you get some exercise and enjoy Alpine Touring together. Skimo Race: This multi-lap, multi-transition weekly race league is a total blast! Each week will feature a new route with multiple transitions and challenges. Racers are encouraged to do as many laps as possible. All racers must have skins on skis, spilt boards or drift boards. No boots or snowshoes allowed. In addition to the races, attendees enjoy a festival atmosphere, featuring fun snowy activities for all ages and special giveaways. Our secret ingredient?
