Cranmore’s signature winter event, Cranapalooza is back for another season of DJ dance parties in Schneider Square with C-more the Penguin, live music, outdoor entertainment, family activities, s'mores, fireworks on select nights and more!  Cranapalooza takes place Saturday nights starting December 27th through March 10th, with bonus days on holiday and vacation periods. Sunrise Snowcoach tours

Experience an unforgettable winter sunrise at treeline from the comfort of the Mt. Washington SnowCoach. Our experienced SnowCoach drivers will take you to treeline (weather permitting) at 4,200 feet on the Mt. Washington Auto Road for a chance to watch the sunrise.  Its mom against mom, dad against dad in our Family Challenge ski race!

Register in Fireplace Room. Races begin at 1:30 p.m. on the King Pine Trail.

Ribbons will be awarded at 3:30 p.m.

Eastman Cross Country

After-School Ski Group

Every Wednesday from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

Start: Wednesday, January 3

End: early March (exact date, to be determined)

Join Recreation staff for ski lessons, tours and games. This is a great after-school program. Parents are encouraged to ski with groups; an attending adult is required for children who need assistance with managing their equipment and clothing.

Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve

Snowshoe Tour

All Snowshoe Tours are free for lodging guest or with valid lift ticket or season pass.

  • Off the road customers pay $12 or free with valid King Pine lift ticket or King Pine season pass. 
  • All abilities including beginners and families.
  • Additional tours may be available during holiday periods.
  • Guided snowshoe adventures exploring the Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary or behind The Inn up to the Lookout Tower or Sexton Shelter.
  • Departs from The Mill Fitness Center at Purity Spring Resort at 2 p.m. tours are geared towards beginners and families and are on relatively flat terrain. If you can walk, you can take this tour. There is a short loop and a long loop.
  • Tour guides will accommodate according to ability of everyone in the group.
  • ($) Rentals available at King Pine base lodge for an additional fee.

Kids' Night Out

Kids, join us for a night of fun - without mom and dad. Eat some pizza and then bounce over to the Adventure Center where you'll spend the evening scaling the climbing wall and ziplining over the Pemigewasset River.  Sounds awesome, right?!

$56 per kid

Ages 6-12. Zipliners must weigh at least 50lbs.

Drop-off from 5:30 pm | Pick-up at 9:00pm
Pick up and drop off at the Children's Center.

All activities are weather dependent.
