Gunstock Mountain Resort

B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim

IT MEANS "BRING YOUR OWN DRY CLOTHES"  

End the season with a splash by entering the annual BYODC Pond skim. This competition is open to all ages brave enough to attempt to cross the pond. We are capping the number of entries at 100 so make sure you sign up early. Prizes will be awarded to Best Cross, Best Splash, and Best Costume. Shark Martin will be playing on the Landing Zone Patio from 2 to 4 as well!

ENTRY FEE $15.00

REGISTRATION: 9:00 TO 11:00 Main Lodge

WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED IF UNDER 18 PARENT MUST SIGN.

VALID LIFT TICKET OR SEASON PASS AND HELMETS REQUIRED.

NO RENTAL EQUIPMENT OR POLES ALLOWED

Mountain Top Mass

Each Saturday of the 2017-2018 ski season, starting on December 23rd, you can join Reverend Jay McLeod of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church from 3:15 to 3:45 pm in the Summit Lodge for skiers' communion. All are welcome! If you attend, you must ski down the mountain, no hiking, walking, or taking the chairlift down.

Loon Mountain Resort

Easter

Load the gondola and ride to the top of Loon Peak for an Easter sunrise service. Loon Mountain Ministry hosts a non-denominational service complete with stunning views, refreshments at the Summit Café and first tracks down the mountain. Kids can follow up their sunrise service with a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed egg hunt. Candy-filled eggs will be hidden at a few different locations around the resort for kids to get their mitts on.

All activities are free to participants.

SUNRISE SERVICE

Gondola Loading: 5:15–5:45 am*

Service: 6:20–7:00 am

Refreshments: 7:00–7:30 am

Gondola Downloading: 7:00–7:45 am

First Tracks: 7:30 am

*Arrival prior to 5:45 am does not guarantee a lift access to the Sunrise Service. This is a first come, first serve event and the last gondola cabin loads at 5:45 am. In the event of bad weather, the service will take place in the Octagon Lodge.

King Pine Pond Skimming

End the ski season with a splash! Skiers and riders attempt to cross the man-made shark-pond at the base of King Pine on the final day of the season. Hawaiian shirts recommended!
