If you're looking for some high adventure and your next adrenaline rush just look to the mountains for your next adventure. Play in the tree tops, zip down zip lines, and ride a mountain coaster, where you control the speed of your ride. Or coast along with the current in one of NH's river, or cast a line from shore. New England Ski Museum

The New England Ski Museum collects, conserves and exhibits elements of ski history for the purposes of research, education and inspiration. Cannon Mountain is the only ski area in the United States with a ski museum on its property. The original museum was founded in Conway in 1977; a second museum opened in 1982 in a former vehicle maintenance building at the base of the Cannon Mountain Tramway in Franconia Notch State Park.

Fishing

Gunstock Mountain Resort's three-acre fish pond is stocked by NH Fish and Game throughout the spring and summer.

The pond is stocked with brook trout and rainbow trout. Watch Gunstock's calendar listing for spring fishing derbies hosted by Gilford Fire Department, the Laconia Rod and Gun Club and others.

Mountain Coaster

One or two passengers can ride individual carts that glide along tubular rails. Carts are pulled uphill by a cable before the cart disengages, and gravity takes over. The downhill track is designed with swooping turns, banked corners and giant loops through the forest. Each cart is equipped with its own braking system, allowing the "driver" to slow to a comfortable pace or let it rip at full speed.

Barrel Bar & Grille in the Stockade Lodge

Conveniently located near Gunstock's Panorama Lift that offers scenic chairlift rides, a warm and welcoming full-service restaurant with a 20-seat bar and air-conditioned dining and large outdoor deck welcomes guests with discerning tastes. Barrel Bar & Grille, Gunstock's preferred spot for winter dining and apres ski revelry, also welcomes summer and fall visitors.

Powder Keg Restaurant

Head to the Powder Keg with family and friends and enjoy a full-service bar and menu with something for everyone! Choose from our cozy mainstays like French Onion Soup, Nachos, or Black Diamond Salad!

Panorama Pub

A cozy little warming hut at the summit of Gunstock. The Pan Pub features snacks, drinks and picturesque views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding White Mountain and Ossipee Mountain ranges. Warm up with a cup of soup or chili or cool down with a beer!

Pistol Pub

Sip on a brew and munch on some snacks like chips and salsa or Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese and mustard on the upper level of the Historic Main Lodge. Enjoy live music every Saturday from 3 - 6 p.m.

Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline + More

Scale the area's largest outdoor climbing wall. With routes for all abilities, scramble to the top and ring the bell! We provide the ropes, harness, and wall, you bring the muscle.

Strap in, then leap, soar, spin, flip and bounce. You'll wonder why you never became an acrobat! The Bungee Trampoline is an outdoor activity, and is open as scheduled, weather permitting.

September Sundays- Outdoor Market & Concert

Join us for September Sundays at Whaleback on every Sunday in September! We kick each day off with an Outdoor Market from 10am-2pm and a new outdoor concert from 1pm-3pm. Come check out what local Upper Valley Vendors and Businesses have to offer, then stay for a cold drink and amazing local music on our beautiful back deck at the base of the mountain.
