Attitash Mountain Resort

Attitash Mountain Resort proudly partners with Mount Washington Valley Adaptive Sports (MWVAS) to offer an adaptive ski program to families and individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities.

MWVAS offers full and half day clinics from mid-December through March that utilize both adaptive equipment and/or adaptive teaching techniques, depending on the student.

Mount Washington Valley Adaptive Sports has been enriching lives for more than 20 years. An independent non-profit charitable organization offering adaptive sports programs for people with any type of disability.

Bretton Woods

New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) at Bretton Woods is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing adaptive sport instruction to adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities. We offer adaptive alpine skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing and snowshoeing.

Conveniently located on the base level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge, NEDS at Bretton Woods makes it possible for everyone to experience the thrills and delights of the outdoors. Our programs allow individuals with disabilities to enjoy a boundary-free environment, participate in outdoor recreation with friends and family, as well as provide access to equipment and instruction that might otherwise be unavailable. From a first time athlete to the most experienced, we have something for you.

Cannon Mountain

Cannon Mountain has partnered with the Adaptive Sports Partners (ASP) to make adaptive on-snow ski/ride opportunities & instruction available to people of all abilities and ages 5+. ASP has a highly trained and dedicated group of volunteers and wide variety of adaptive ski and ride equipment. As a PSIA/AASI member school, Adaptive Sports Partners offers a safe and fun approach to alpine skiing and riding.

Gunstock Mountain Resort

Lakes Region Disabled Sports (LRDS) is a non-profit program providing recreation and fitness for individuals with disabilities in a safe, supportive, independent, and fun environment at Gunstock Mountain Resort. LRDS aspires to promote understanding and acceptance without limitations or boundaries for individuals with disabilities. Their instructors and volunteers are trained to work with the diverse abilities of our students and love instilling a passion for winter sports. Each year they provide hundreds of lessons for individuals with physical, sensory, cognitive and learning challenges.

Mount Sunapee

New England Healing Sports Association or “NEHSA” is a seven-day a week non-profit program staffed by volunteers. It is one of the oldest adaptive snow sports learning centers on the east coast with its inception in 1972. NEHSA was founded as a non-profit organization run by and for individuals with disabilities who wanted to enjoy active and independent lives through participation in sports.

Waterville Valley Resort

We encourage freedom and self reliance through experiential opportunities in a safe and supportive environment with our highly trained staff and volunteers. The program enriches the lives of everyone involved, resulting in profound and lasting impact on individualism, health and wellbeing.”

The Waterville Adaptive Program, which is a 501 © (3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1992 by Kathy Chandler, a PSIA-Certified Adaptive Examiner and former Ski School director. Today the program is guided by over seventy dedicated and highly-trained volunteer instructors.

  • Lessons are available Tuesday-Sunday, and closed on non-holiday Mondays.
  • Daily lesson prices range from $70* for a half-day and $104* for a full day.
    • *Price includes a full-mountain lift ticket, the use of specially designed adaptive ski equipment, and one-on-one instruction.
  • Reservations are required.
