KIDS GOLF FREE IN JULY - 2024
Starting on July 1, 2024 through the entire month, anytime of day, kids golf free at the Omni Mount Washington Golf Course. All juniors aged 15 and younger (members, resort guests and public) golf for free. Cart, green fee, and junior rental clubs are included subject to availability. Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, however, purchase of an accompanying round is not required. If a parent or guardian is playing, they must pay regular rate for 9 holes. The earliest serenades were usually sung at night to express love. The tradition continued through the Baroque and Classical periods, but really reached its pinnacle with the sophisticated multi-movement works of the Romantic era performed for larger audiences. In Brahms’ Serenade in D, he channels Mozart, Haydn and Schubert, but never sets aside his own Romantic sensibilities. Denali Hiking Challenge
Within the mountains that surround Waterville Valley exist a number of New England's highest peaks. The Denali Challenge is to hike five of these peaks in one weekend. The ultimate challenge is to hike the five peaks equaling 20,000 feet (Denali is at 20,328') claiming the title "Alive after five". This year, hikers will be able to choose from a number of different peaks for the five mountains they will climb. Participation in the weekend is free and everyone is welcome. Whether you're an experienced hiker looking to master all five peaks, or just looking to join the fun, there is something to fit all abilities and ages.
