Many Ski NH resorts offer many other ways to make memories on and off the snow. Winter coaster rides, aerial adventures, canopy tours and ziplines are just a few of the many other options.

Bretton Woods Canopy Tours

Join us year-round for a thrilling zip line adventure on the slopes of Bretton Woods! Participants are brought on an adventure that includes a network of platforms high up in the ancient hemlock trees connected by nine zip lines, two sky bridges and three rappels.

This excursion offers both a thrilling experience and an intimate look into the wilds of the White Mountains, with sweeping views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. Time out depends on group sizes, with groups of 4+ averaging roughly 3 hours and up. Smaller groups should expect anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours. The longest zip is over 1000 ft. long and about 165 feet off the forest floor. Each tour can accommodate up to eight participants who descend 1000 feet in elevation with two Adventure Guides, from the top of Rosebrook Canyon to the base of Bretton Woods.

Mt. Washington SnowCoach

Driven by 4 tracks rather than wheels, the Mt. Washington SnowCoach transports guests to treeline on the Mt. Washington Auto Road, at approximately 4,200 feet, into a sub-arctic world for a truly unforgettable adventure. All tours are narrated by our expert guides and the SnowCoaches are warm and comfortable.

Skijoring with Your Dog

As the family gets suited up and gathers their gear to head to the mountain, our furry friends are left waiting by the door. If only there were a way to combine a romp with the dog and skiing - oh wait, there is! Gunstock Mountain Resort offers special lessons in which you and your family can go Nordic skiing with your dogs.

“Skijoring,” a word derived from the Norwegian culture, is ski driving, where you are in control but your dog assists in pulling you along. At Gunstock you and your dogs can learn from a unique skijoring team of educators. After experiencing this unique sport you will want to hang up the leash and take out your harness every day instead!
