Whether staff are new to lift operations or are seasoned mechanics, our seminar has educational opportunities for all.  New this year is the development of tracks that will have Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 designations! Once enrolled, participants will be invited to choose courses according to their interests and abilities. Certificates of completion will be awarded to all participants who complete the program.

A Snowmakers Seminar will also be held concurrently at Loon and provide a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip participants with important snowmaking skills. The program will include classes in basic electrical theory, meters, safety, schematics, pumphouse controls, and troubleshooting problems; a tour of Loon Mountain Resort's snowmaking system; and more. Check out the Snowmakers Seminar schedule and session descriptions. Certificates of completion will be awarded to all participants who complete the program.
