Bretton Woods

BRETTON WOODS TRAILBLAZERS

Bretton Woods Trailblazers is a seasonal program for young skiers who want to improve their skiing by developing their skills, exploring all types of terrain and to see how far they can take their skiing potential. These skiers will enjoy all the various terrain that Bretton Woods has to offer, challenge their friends on the NASTAR Course as well as free skiing around the mountain with our coaches.

Plus select days during vacation period: TBD.

This program is for skiers ages 7 through 15 years-old. Groups will be set up as U8, U10, U12, U14 & U16.

Bretton Woods

The Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School is pleased to offer a variety of seasonal programs for kids, teens and adults. These programs are designed to improve technique while providing a fun and comfortable environment.

SNOW PLAY:

Private lessons provide a tailored approach to the needs of your child. This is a playful and fun introduction to the basic movements of skiing. We take the Snow Play approach in getting acquainted with snow, the cold, the clothing, boots, and equipment while integrating the sliding movements of skiing. The timeline for each child to learn the movements of skiing is different. Your instructor can provide further guidance in addressing your expectations. Lessons are 60-minute, one-on-one for children 4-6 years old. Ages 4-6.

CHILDREN'S GROUP LESSONS:

Our morning group lessons are for children ages 4 to 10 years old held Friday through Sunday. Children will be grouped by age and ability. This is a fun and playful approach to the world of skiing and integrates games and fun learning with movements of skiing. Maximum group size for ages 4-6 is 3 students. Maximum group size for ages 7-10 is 6 students.

Cannon Mountain

Cannon Mountain’s Junior Development Program is designed for skiers who wish to take a lesson every weekend with the same instructor. The program offers a progression for young skiers looking to develop their skills on all types of terrain and to maximize the recreational experience. The Junior Development program is available for skiers ages 5-14 years old. 

We offer groups for first times to advanced and dynamic skiers. Our dedicated instructors work diligently to create a fun and safe learning atmosphere that cultivates age appropriate social and athletic growth while providing individualized attention within a structured group format to foster a lifelong love of snowsports. Junior Development Program is based out of the Brookside Learning Center at the Peabody Base Area, exit 34C from I-93.

Cranmore Mountain Resort

Welcome to KidsRule Mountain Camps, where fun and progression glide smoothly together. As the first official ski school in the US, Cranmore has a long history of guiding people into lifelong skiers and riders in the White Mountains, and KidsRule Mountain Camps are where it all begins.

KidsRule is offered Friday–Sunday, and daily during holiday and vacation periods, from 10am–3pm. KidsRule includes all-day instruction, lift access and lunch. Rental equipment is additional. For the best availability, reserve in advance!

Ragged Mountain Resort

Ragged Mountain offers an Adventure Camp for kids ages 6-12 (beginner to intermediate level skiers), where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. Half and full-day programs include breaks inside the learning center with snacks and hot chocolate provided.

Our Children's Seasonal Programs are for ages 7-14  (intermediate to advanced skiers). All of our programs are 10 weeks long and starts January 8th. Families can choose between half day programs on Saturday or Sunday from 9am-12pm. The last week of the program will include a fun race on Barnyard and pizza party! The Seasonal Program is for Intermediate and advanced skiers that are looking to refine their skills on a variety of terrain while having fun and making new friends.

The SEEDS Program develops participants’ teamwork and job preparedness in a highly social, lively, and collaborative environment. Not only will this program develop your child’s understanding of the ski industry, increase their job preparedness, and improve their confidence and independence as they prepare to enter the workforce, but this program will also create a strong sense of belonging within our team, the Waterville Family, and in the ski industry. Waterville Valley Resort is very excited to offer childcare for ages 1-3 years during the upcoming 2022/23 winter season. As New Hampshire’s Family Resort, we believe that providing childcare options for our guests is immensely important, especially considering the ongoing childcare crisis within our state and across the country.

Our full-service Child Care facility is conveniently located on the first floor of the Base Lodge. Healthy, nut-free lunch and snacks are included with childcare. Parents will be asked to select a lunch option at check-in. Is your child a picky eater? Feel free to pack a lunch for your child - but please remember, we are a NUT FREE FACILITY!

• We will be offering daily childcare only. Seasonal childcare will NOT be available.

We offer different programs geared toward certain age groups and within those groups, we might have different groups based on skill development and intensity level.

The variety of terrain at Wildcat offers an amazing opportunity for your children to learn and experience groomers, bumps, glades, gates, and natural snow conditions unrivaled in the East. The Wildcat Seasonal Program Coaches will work together to develop the various teams within the program.
