Summer Activities
If you're looking for some high adventure and your next adrenaline rush just look to the mountains for your next adventure. Play in the tree tops, zip down zip lines, and ride a mountain coaster, where you control the speed of your ride. Or coast along with the current in one of NH's river, or cast a line from shore. In addition to the activities listed below, you'll find links to additional summer activities in the nav bar on this page. No matter what you choose, summer fun awaits!
Echo Lake Beach & Boat Rentals
At Echo Lake Beach visitors will enjoy a beautiful 39-acre lake with an excellent view of Cannon Mountain ski area and Franconia Notch. Rent Kayaks or Pedal Boats from the Lakeside Genral Store and explore the lake or bask in the sun on the sandy beach.

Yoga With a View
Take in the amazing summit views while doing something for yourself in a guided yoga class. Yoga with a view will be offered on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. through September 28, 2024 (weather permitting).
2024/25 Epic Pass Holders are eligible for Scenic Sky Rides.

Friday Family Night
Join us every Friday night from June 17th - Oct 25th from 5pm to close for Friday Family Nights! Enjoy food on the grill, cold drinks in the beer garden, beach volleyball, corn hole tournaments, disc golf, music & more!

September Sundays- Outdoor Market & Concert
Join us for September Sundays at Whaleback on every Sunday in September! We kick each day off with an Outdoor Market from 10am-2pm and a new outdoor concert from 1pm-3pm. Come check out what local Upper Valley Vendors and Businesses have to offer, then stay for a cold drink and amazing local music on our beautiful back deck at the base of the mountain.
