Ring in the New Year on the Slopes!

December 22, 2025

We can’t think of many places that are better to ring in the New Year than New Hampshire ski areas. There is something special about how the mountains feel extra festive as the year winds down. Across the state, Ski New Hampshire member resorts are marking the occasion with events that range from family-friendly celebrations to adults-only parties, so whether you’re squeezing in a few last runs before dark or waiting for the fireworks, there’s something for everyone this New Year.

Here’s how you can welcome 2026 right here in the Granite State:

Cranmore Mountain Resort

Celebrate early with a family-friendly NYE Cranapalooza glow party in Cranmore’s base area. Expect glow-in-the-dark activities, music from a live DJ, appearances by C-More the Penguin, and a fireworks show to cap off the night.

Loon Mountain Resort

Loon Mtn NYE

Start the evening with a Snowshoe & S’mores experience at Camp III, then head to the Paul Bunyan Room for Bunyan’s Legendary Bash. This 21+ celebration includes music, hors d’oeuvres, and a midnight toast to ring in the new year.

Mount Sunapee

Sunapee NYE

Mount Sunapee keeps the celebration going into the evening with the Sunapee New Year's Bash with live music on the Toyota Music Den Unplugged, food and fun featuring the annual Bonfire, S'moresmobile, and More!

Pats Peak Ski Area

Pats Peak Fireworks

Spend New Year’s Eve on the slopes at Pats Peak with lifts open late until 8:45 PM, music in the pub, and a fireworks show at 9:20 PM to cap off the night. Ski or ride before the celebration, then enjoy the spectacular display as you ring in the new year.

Tenney Mountain

Tenney Mtn Fireworks

Tenney Mountain’s adults-only New Year’s Eve celebration features a buffet dinner, music, fireworks, and champagne toasts at midnight. Dress up and enjoy a festive night out with mountain views as the backdrop.

Waterville Valley

Wrap up the year at Waterville Valley with an après-ski party and live music in the base area, and a fireworks show in the Town Square at the end of the night.

New Year’s Eve is just one of many ways to enjoy winter in New Hampshire.
