This seven-stop snowboard tour features a pro-caliber $30,000 prize purse, giving riders the chance to compete in a judged jam-style contest in a fun and friendly environment. The Burton Qualifiers are FREE to enter, spectator-friendly, and an awesome opportunity for local riders to get their riding noticed both at the event and online in Burton's video and social media coverage. Great Glen Trails

Penguins and Polar Bears Nordic ski camp

This camp will focus on games and fun while teaching cross-country ski basics for kids ages six to eleven years old.
Both Penguins (ages 6 to 8) and Polar Bears (ages 9 to 11) start off the camp with games that teach and test stopping abilities. Red Light, Green Light is a favorite that can be adapted to experienced skiers with the challenge of skiing backward. Moose in the Trail gives further stopping practice while descending hills. Games of Predator and Prey played on one ski helps to equalize levels of skiing ability while providing the fun of a chase on skis. Capture the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, and Flag Tag are other game possibilities.

Evening Snowshoe Tours

Experience the wonder of a nighttime winter walk. Join a Naturalist from the Appalachian Mountain Club on a guided snowshoe tour. We will use our senses (and no flashlights) to navigate the trails while listening for owls calling and exploring our senses.

Join us for our Starry Nights Celebration! Starry Nights offers gourmet dining to an acoustic beat while nestled mountainside around a fire inside the Sunnyside Timberlodge.  Guests will enjoy the stars as they ride up the Valley Run Quad then ski or ride to the Sunnyside Timberlodge along a torch lit trail. Upon arrival at the lodge, trade out ski and snowboard boots for cozy souvenir socks and warm-up fireside with appetizers, wine and beer while chatting with friends and listening to local musician. Then take in a gourmet meal. The night will culminate with a Torchlight Parade by skiing or riding down the Valley Run trail under the stars. More Info
