New Hampshire loves kids! Our members boast some wonderful kids programs, with lessons available for children as young as three available at many areas. Programs are catered to children's ages and abilities, and range from half- or full-day programs to season-long programs.
Bear Notch Ski Touring Center
Kids can take a lesson with mom & dad. Family Lessons are an hour and half. Trail pass is required, rentals are available at an additional fee.
Bretton Woods Nordic Center
The Youth Instructional Program at Bretton Woods is a fun program designed for young skiers ages 4-12 and includes instruction from experienced instructors. A trail pass or season pass is required for participation in this program.
Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center
Children under 5 ski free at Dartmouth XC.
Eastman Cross Country
Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 pm. Join staff for ski lessons, tours and games. A great after school activity.
Great Glen Trails
For 1st through 8th graders, the Great Glen Bill Koch League (BKL) meets Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. BKL Club is emphasizes the fun of skiing, making new friends, and learning and improving skiing skills. BKL, a regional youth ski program, is named after Bill Koch, the first U.S. Olympic medalist in cross-country skiing.) Great Glen's BKL program is led by 1984 Olympian Sue Wemyss.
Great Glen Trails offers free season passes for kids ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a season pass. A season pass at Great Glen Trails includes unlimited cross country skiing and can be extended to all children within the household.

Waterville Valley Adventure Center
Nordic Kids: This youth program for beginners is designed to share the fun of Nordic skiing with kids ages 5 to 12 by introducing techniques, playing games and having a great time on skis! Cost is $20 per session (includes trail pass, rental, instruction and a cup of hot cocoa).
