This program is ideal for the skier or rider already proficient in riding a lift and skiing/riding in control.

Little Lambs and Shepherds is a tot program (ages 3 to 6) that allows the parent(s) or guardian to take an active role in teaching your little one to ski. This is a ten week program that meets Monday mornings

Cannon Mountain

The Snowsports School at Cannon Mountain is located slopeside in the Brookside Learning Center adjacent to the Peabody Base Lodge in the main base area off exit 34C. The Cannon Mountain ski school is certified by Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) Our staff ranges from National team members to level 1 certified instructors along with new trainees.

The Cannon Mountain Snowsports School is offering first-time packages for ages 5+ during the 2021/22 season.

Dartmouth Skiway

Dartmouth Skiway's Kinder Ski Program isfor kids ages 4-6 and provides kids the opportunity to discover the joys of snowsports during an uncrowded time on the slopes. The goal of this program is to introduce/increase skills of young skiers in small groups taught by our professional instructors. The program is 6 weeks long with each session lasting 90 minutes. The Gateway Program offers kids ages 5-12 of a variety of abilities the opportunity to discover the excitement of downhill skiing in a fun and safe environment. This program, offered Saturday and/or Sundays, is recreational in nature, with a focus on improvement through increased skiing time as well as using an introduction to gates, brushes, and moguls along with other terrain features to build and reinforce skills. The program is designed to develop competent, safe and happy lifelong, with small classes grouped by age and ability taught by professional instructors. Each session is 2.5 hours in length.

Great Glen Trails

For 1st through 8th graders, the Great Glen Bill Koch League (BKL) meets Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. BKL Club is emphasizes the fun of skiing, making new friends, and learning and improving skiing skills. BKL, a regional youth ski program, is named after Bill Koch, the first U.S. Olympic medalist in cross-country skiing.) Great Glen's BKL program is led by 1984 Olympian Sue Wemyss.

Great Glen Trails offers free season passes for kids ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a season pass. A season pass at Great Glen Trails includes unlimited cross country skiing and can be extended to all children within the household.

Ragged Mountain Resort

Ragged Mountain offers an Adventure Camp for kids ages 4-12, where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. Half and full-day programs include breaks inside the learning center with snacks and hot chocolate provided.

Our Children Seasonal Programs are for ages 7-14. All of our programs are 10 weeks long and starts January 7th. Families can choose between half day programs on Saturday or Sunday from 9am-12pm. The last week of the program will include a fun race on Barnyard and pizza party! The Seasonal Program is for Intermediate and advanced skiers that are looking to refine their skills on a variety of terrain while having fun and making new friends.

Our Seasonal Programs are available for kids 4-16 years old. We offer different programs geared toward certain age groups and within those groups, we might have different groups based on skill development and intensity level.

Seasonal Kids Kamps are for younger beginners or novice skiers (ages 4-6) who are in need of more basic instruction and are not at the lower intermediate skill level yet.

Lil Grit Program is a program for 4–5-year-old skiers with a focus on mountain safety, developing fundamental skills, and lots of indoor and outdoor fun!

The True Grits Ski program is designed for intermediate or above skiers, 6–12 years old with options to telemark.
The True Grits Snowboards program is designed for intermediate or above riders, 6–12- years old. Snowboard groups focus on honing the skills of being an all-mountain, all-condition rider.

Our Free Ride Program is a specialized group for 9–15-year-old skiers who want to learn the fundamentals of freestyle along with solid all-mountain skiing.

The Teen Program is designed for teens, 13–16-year-olds, who are able to ski or ride all of Waterville Valley's terrain.

Mountain Explorers (for 7-14 year olds) - This 5 week program is designed for the beginner through the advanced skier/riders . Learn the basics or progress your skills. Invite your friends and have a blast! This program is a great balance of lesson and supervised free ski/ride time to practice those new skills and have fun with peers. Every Saturday and Sunday for 5 weeks.

Belugas Whales Program (for 4–6-year-olds) - The Beluga programs are a fun and playful ski or ride program for 4-6 year olds. This non-competitive 5-week program focuses on skill development, promotes safe exploration and progression in the learning area. It encourages a lifelong passion for the outdoors and skiing/riding. We provide an attentive and nurturing learning environment with a 1:4 coach to child ratio.
