Bartlett, NH (November 7, 2025) — Winter is officially on the horizon at Wildcat Mountain, where the roar of snowguns now echoes across the White Mountains. Following the season’s first natural snowfall earlier this week, Wildcat’s snowmaking team fired up the system on Thursday, November 6, marking the start of the countdown to opening day.
"The energy on the mountain is electric," said Brandon Swartz, General Manager of Wildcat Mountain. "Our snowmakers are working around the clock to transform the terrain and bring us closer to welcoming skiers and riders back for another unforgettable season."
Opening day for the 2025/26 season is approaching fast. While the exact date will be announced soon, guests can expect a launch consistent with Wildcat’s tradition of early-season excitement.
Known for its rugged, steep terrain and jaw-dropping views of Mount Washington, Wildcat Mountain boasts 2,100 feet of vertical drop and the longest green circle trail in the East, stretching an incredible 2.75 miles. This iconic New Hampshire destination is where adventure meets alpine beauty.
