Relax by the fire pit, roaring each evening weather permitting.	1 Family Camp Out Under The Stars Family Camp Out Under The Stars All Day Bring the whole family on October 1st for a camp out under the stars! Have you ever wanted to camp out on the mountain? Join us on October 1st for a family camp out under the stars. We will have lawn games, beach volleyball, a guided mountain hike, dinner on the grill, s’mores & stories around the camp fire, live music by Green Mountain Roots & Peabody's Coal Train, a dance party and more! Whaleback will provide campsites, food & drinks for purchase, entertainment, complimentary s’mores and complimentary coffee by Hato Viejo Coffee in the morning. What you should bring: A tent, camping gear to stay comfortable, extra layers/clothes, camp chairs and anything else you need to stay happy and comfortable for a night out on the mountain! Campsites will open at 3pm on 10/1 and must be broken down by 11am on 10/2. Skis, boards, skates and apparel, both new and used, will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the UNH Ski Program. There will also be a free raffle for New Hampshire ski area passes. Members of the public are invited to sell their own equipment. We have over a million dollars in inventory of new and used equipment, clothing and accessories. You are sure to find what you are looking for at a great price, and you will get expert advice from local ski shops representatives. Join us and find everything you need to get ready for fun on the snow! Merchandise includes new and used skis, snowboards, poles, helmets, gear bags, boots, and x-country skis. OTHER winter gear available: jackets, gloves, hats, ski bags, snowboard bags, hockey skates, figure skates, snowshoes, and more. Franconia Ski Club ski Swap Franconia Ski Club ski Swap 8:00am - 12:00pm Our annual FSC Ski Swap is fast approaching! It will be held on Saturday, November 5th from 8:00 am to Noon at Cannon Mountain's Peabody Base Lodge. It is a wonderful community event as well as a significant fundraiser for FSC. The Swap is great place to find deals on used ski equipment or an excellent motivator to clean out your closets and unload some equipment that you no longer use. The local ski shops will be there too with a variety of items for sale Looking to sell your outgrown equipment and clothing? Gear drop off will be on Friday, November 4th from 4 to 8:00 pm in the lower level of Peabody Base Lodge. Unsold items may be picked up between Noon and 1 pm on Saturday. Any items remaining after 1 pm will be donated to local charities. 30% off the proceeds from the sale of each item will be retained by FSC. Sellers will receive a check for their portion (70%) by mail within two weeks of the event. We will be using an online system for consignment this year which will allow sellers to register and tag their items from home ahead of time. More information for consignors will be coming soon. Participants can sign-in online, enter the items to be sold before sale day, get hourly updates during the ski sale as items are sold, and receive a check in the mail for the merchandise sold after the sale automatically! TO SELL YOUR EQUIPMENT – Items must be registered in the system before drop off. To register your items, please visit the Pats Peak Ski Team Ski & Snowboard Sale page: www.patspeakracing.org. Print a label for each item you are selling and securely affix it the the item to be sold BEFORE you arrive for drop off on Saturday.
