Schwendi Fest is BACK and BIGGER than ever! Taking place on October 12th, this mountain-top extravaganza celebrates the stunning foliage season while looking ahead to ski season!
Embrace the fall colors through a scenic chairlift ride up Tecumseh Express.
Treat yourself to a Schwendi Hutte BBQ.
Swag, sweatshirts, tees, and more for purchase!
Indulge in some libations - hot apple cider (spiked and unspiked), beer, and seltzer will be available for purchase.
Warm up by a massive mountain-top bonfire.
Kids will stay busy with plenty of family-friendly games, activities, and a movie showing inside the bottom floor of the Hutte.
The Resort Trolley will be running, so if you're staying in the valley, you’ve already secured your DD for this event!
TICKETS INCLUDE: Scenic chairlift ride up & down Tecumseh Express and lunch (BBQ - Choice of burger/brat/hot dog, apple & chips).
KIDS 5 & UNDER ARE FREE - You must redeem a tyke ticket from the Ticket Window.

SEATING | Seating may be limited - we encourage you to bring picnic blankets (no lawn chairs will be allowed on the chairlift).
ADULT BEVERAGES | Please be aware that, in accordance with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules & regulations, outside alcohol cannot be consumed at the summit. Given this rule is a stipulation of our liquor license, we will be strictly enforcing this policy. Coolers will not be allowed on the chairlift. You'll be able to purchase alcoholic beverages from the Schwendi Hutte. If you're planning on enjoying some adult beverages during Schwendi Fest, please remember to bring your government-issued I.D.

Franconia Notch Half Marathon
Franconia Notch Half Marathon
The Franconia Notch Half Marathon is a fundraising event in support of Adaptive Sports Partners. Runners will start at the Cannon Mountain Base Area, run the bike path out and back to finish slopeside at Peabody. A $500 cash prize is awarded to the top overall Male and Female finishers.

COSTUME CONTEST & PARTY | 3:45PM
Go all out this year! Dress up in your Halloween best and walk the stage at the infamous Waterville Valley Recreation Department Halloween Costume Contest! WVRD judges will present awards to multiple age groups in a number of categories like: Scariest Costume, Best Duo Costume, Funniest Costume, Most Original - and more! Parents, there is an age group for you too! Advance registration required (Members: Free, Guests: $5).
All participants will receive a treat bag with registration and a map of participating locations for trick or treating!
Ages Groups: 8 & Under, 9 - 14, 15+
