Join us for this 48th Annual Mount Washington Cup Nordic Race 10k Freestyle (skate ski) Race, which is part of the ZAK Cup Series. Located on the grounds of the historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel and the White Mountain National Forest, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest cross-country areas in the East. The 100-km trail network crosses open fields, meanders through woods of spruce and fir, passes beaver ponds and mountain streams, and traverses open hardwood stands.

Ragged Mountain is proud to host this feel-good spring snowboarding and new this season skiers are welcome to race. The format consists of one racer at a time, two runs, and your quickest time counts. Compete for cash and prizes, but most importantly - bragging rights! Do you think you’re the fastest rider on the mountain? Here’s your opportunity to prove it – we are hosting the Ragged Banked Slalom next Saturday, March 9th! Our BX course was refined this past week for the USASA competition currently running. The format consists of one racer at a time, two runs, and your quickest time counts. Registration will be located in Elmwood Lodge just outside Stone Hearth from 9am to 11am. Classes consist of Men’s Open (16+), Women’s Open (16+), Boys (15 and under), Girls (15 and under) and new this year we have added a skiing class. Max of 100 entries per class, first come, first serve. $25 entrance fee required with valid lift ticket ($40 ticket available for competitors only) or current season pass. Practice begins at 11am with race starting at noon. $2000 CASH PURSE, $1000 for top three men and women in the open categories for both skiing and snowboarding. Hawaiian Weekend is the perfect time to celebrate spring skiing and snowboarding! There are tropical decorations around the mountain and skiers and snowboarders receive a Hawaiian Lei to join in the fun. Be Festive and Dress In Your Best Hawaiian Outfit!

Join us March 8th to celebrate International Women’s (Ski) Day at Ragged Mountain! We will be gathering at 9:00am to ski as a group, catered lunch in the Birches consists of pizza and salad (suggested donation $10), followed by après ski on the bricks in the sunshine. ALL are welcome to join for a great day of skiing! This year's International Women's Day theme is Inspire and Inclusion.

This is an open registration, jam format, snowboard only event. It takes place on Wanna Be Wild where we convert the miniature terrain park into a mini halfpipe. LIVE MUSIC on the venue featuring a DJ! Spectators will be allowed on the trail, but outside of the contest area. The contest area is for staff and competitors only. The pipe will be fully visible from the bottom of the course. Please respect these rules.

In memory of long-time Cannon skier, Bill Cunningham to benefit the Amyloidosis Center at Boston Medical Center. Fun race on Time Zone to kick off a fundraising month to meet the $7500 matching fund generously donated. The Silent Auction will begin at 9AM-Score a Cannon Season Pass, the #1 Mug for the Cannonball Pub, an Adirondack Ski Chair or other amazing items!

This event is for spectators and participants as participants try to ski or snowboard across a man-made pond without falling in. Some make it across the pond but many make a splash and take the icy plunge. The judges hand out prizes for Best Costume, Best Splash and Best Skim.

Strap in the Kids’ to Ski w/ Bode Run*, a slope-side extravaganza designed for young daredevils (18 and under) who can conquer the chair lift and shred the slopes solo. Speed demons, unite for the Kids’ Fun Race on Gremlin Trail, where bibs are your racing badge of honor, and the sooner you sign up, the closer you get to feeling the wind in your hair. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Dive into the Autograph Session, snag a stash of goodies in your Participant Goodie Bag, and immortalize the day with a Commemorative Event Item.

The name says it all! This freestyle ski contest is out to prove who’s got true skills and style. Leave your Jib skis at home because “Bump N’ Jump” is all about turns, air, and style! The course will be a basic bump run with a kicker or two and potentially a rail thrown into the mix. Skiers will be judged on speed, style, and overall impression. Old school tricks such as Iron Crosses, Screaming Seamen’s and Daffy’s are highly encouraged! Here at Ragged, we appreciate the roots in freestyle skiing. We want to see what this generation of Freeskiers can do when they are put into a scenario where control and style reign supreme. Spectators will be able to see the event from the 6-pack chair lift and/or alongside the course. The course will be roped off to competitors and event personnel only. Please respect the rules!

Get creative and have fun at this fan-favorite event! Build a craft of only Cardboard, Duct Tape, Zip Ties, and Paint. That's it! Awards will be given out for: 1) Best Slider 2) Most Creative 3) Best Kids Only Sled 4) Judges Choice. Registration will be from 8-9:30 a.m. on the back deck of the ATC with the competition kicking off at 10 a.m. Save that cardboard and start crafting your sled!

After growing up riding Bear Mountain, Calif., Erik made the move to Truckee, Calif., where he now resides and works as a barista. Whether it be powder, slush, bumps, rails, halfpipe, or pine needles, Erik rides it all with unique style and originality that few possess. CoreNation is a rail jam series traveling across the U.S. that helps create awareness and financial support for local nonprofits. The contest is a jam format that encourages snowboarders and skiers to have fun while helping promote the progression of other participants.

Awards will be given out for: 1) Best Design 2) Best Crash 3) Fastest Time 4) Judges' Choice. Registration and sled inspection will be from 8-8:45 a.m. in front of the Spruce Lodge, with the competition kicking off at 9 a.m. Save that cardboard and start crafting your sled! Participants must pre-register; only 25 spots are available. Registration will open on 3/18 at 10 am. Please note: Only cardboard and wax are allowed on the bottom. NO duct tape on the bottom, side and top only!
