Rules & Regulations

Program Overview

• The Ski NH 4th & 5th Grade Passport is hosted on the WinterKids App. 
• Each Passport provides one free lift ticket or trail pass at each of Ski NH’s 32 member ski areas.
• The program is open to current 4th and 5th graders, regardless of place of residence. 
• Parents/guardians must download the WinterKids App to access offers.

Eligibility

• Only students enrolled in 4th or 5th grade during the current school year are eligible.

• Proof of grade is required at the time of application. Acceptable forms include:
  *Report card or progress report
  *Letter from the school confirming grade level
  *Screenshot of a school portal showing grade and date

• Homeschoolers or those without standard documentation must contact passports@skinh.com.

• Past eligibility cannot be extended. Students who missed participation in a previous year are not eligible once they are beyond 5th grade.

Cost   

• The Passport costs $59 per child. 

• Each child receives one Passport; additional siblings must be registered separately. 

Account & Access 

• Applications are processed within 2–3 business days once proof of grade is received. Processing may take longer during peak times.
• Welcome emails are sent from skinhpassport@winterkids.org. Families are responsible for ensuring they receive program communications.
  
• Log in to the app using the same email and password used during application.
  
• Forgotten passwords must be reset through the provided password reset tool.

Redemption Rules

• Each offer provides one single-day ticket per ski area, valid for the child listed on the Passport.
  
• Offers must be redeemed through the WinterKids App at the time of use. Barcodes are visible for 24 hours after redemption.
  
• Accidental redemptions must be reported immediately to passports@skinh.com or 603-745-9396 x201.
  
• Some ski areas allow advance reservations (currently Bretton Woods, Gunstock, Loon, and Pats Peak). Reservation procedures must be followed as directed in the app.
  
• Offers cannot be transferred, duplicated, or exchanged for cash value. 

Restrictions 

• The Passport may not be combined with any other discount, promotion, or package.
  
• Only one offer per ski area is permitted, per child. 
  
• Ski NH and participating ski areas are not responsible for lost, unused, or expired offers. 
  
• Misuse of the Passport, including fraudulent redemption or misrepresentation of eligibility, may result in cancellation without refund.

Offers in the Passport are valid any day of the 2025-26 season except these blackout dates:

Christmas break: Friday, December 26, 2025 – Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Martin Luther King Weekend: Saturday, January 17 - Monday, January 19, 2026
President's Weekend: Saturday, February 14 - Monday, February 16, 2026
February break (one day): Saturday, February 21, 2026

• Special Considerations: 
  *Great Glen Trails’ trail pass has NO blackout date restrictions.
  *McIntyre Ski Area ticket cannot be redeemed for the "One Great Rate" promotion.
  *Pats Peak’s ticket cannot be redeemed for their Saturday night "Pay-One-Price" promotion.

• Online reservations are welcome at the following ski areas:
  *Bretton Woods | Gunstock Mountain Resort | Loon Mountain | *Pats Peak (*Pats Peak requires reservations on weekends and other busy times)
  *When this process is completed, you will be provided with an emailed confirmation code to use in their online ticket reservation systems. Please check SkiNH.com *and our social media pages frequently for any changes to this program.

• For online reservations follow these directions:
  *In the app on your phone, select the ski area offer, tap the red NEXT button.
  *Select your child's name, under the "Redeem in Person" red button, tap the "or use a Printed Voucher to redeem this offer
  *Under the "Select Redemption Date", tap the "Redeem on" link to select a date and hit "OK", then tap the red "Email me a PDF" button.
  *You will receive the email with the attached voucher and you can use the number under the barcode for making online reservations on the ski area website.
  
  
• Expiration & Use

  *All offers in the app expire for each ski area on the last day that area is open during the 2025–26 ski season.

• Non-Transferability
  *The Passport, or any lift tickets obtained with it, may not be transferred or resold to another person, including family members.
  *Reselling lift tickets is a violation of New Hampshire law.
  *Ski NH will immediately revoke a Passport account if the Passport or any ticket obtained through it is transferred to another person, whether for payment or not.

• Misuse
  *Ski NH may revoke and cancel a Passport account without notice if it is misused.
  *Passport holders and their parents/guardians are responsible for proper use at all times.
  *In cases of misuse, Ski NH may pursue damages from the Passport holder and/or their parent/guardian, including reasonable attorney’s fees.

• Compliance
  *Passport holders must comply with all rules and regulations of participating Ski NH resorts, as well as all applicable laws, including the NH Skiers, Ski Area, and Passenger Tramway Safety Act (RSA 225-A).

• Application Information
  *Providing false or inaccurate information on a Passport application will result in denial or revocation.
  *All application information is subject to verification by Ski NH and becomes the property of Ski NH.
  *Ski NH will never sell applicant information to a third party. Information may be shared with Ski NH member resorts solely for eligibility verification.

• Program Changes
  *Ski NH reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Passport program at any time.
