What is the 4th & 5th Grade Passport?
The Passport is a junior ticket program hosted on the WinterKids App (parents/guardians must download the app to access offers). It provides one free lift ticket or trail pass for each of Ski New Hampshire’s 32 member ski areas. The program is open to all 4th and 5th graders, regardless of where they live.

Application & Account Help

I made a mistake on my application.
Email us at passports@skinh.com with the details. Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply.

I didn’t receive my welcome email.
Check your spam or junk folder. Emails come from skinhpassport@winterkids.org. Mark this address as “important,” “star,” or “VIP” so future messages reach your inbox.

How do I log into the Ski NH Passport App?
1. Download the WinterKids App and select “SkiNH Passport” for New Hampshire. 
2. Sign in by tapping the Sign in tab (top right) or opening any offer and select Sign in to continue.”
3. Enter the email and password used on your Passport application.

Why can’t I sign into my Passport account right now? (Updated Sept. 19, 2025)
We’re upgrading the WinterKids app with a new version launching Nov. 15. Until then: 
*New accounts won’t be recognized until the update goes live.
*You can view offers but not sign in or redeem.
After Nov. 15, update the app, log in, and enjoy your benefits.

I forgot my password, how can I reset it?
Click the reset link, enter your account email, and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Redeeming Offers

How do I redeem an offer?

I redeemed an offer by mistake.
Contact us during office hours (M–F, 9 am–4 pm) at 603-745-9396 x201 or passports@skinh.com. Provide your child’s name, the offer, and the date redeemed. If calling, please leave a message.

I redeemed too early and the barcode disappeared.
No worries! Go back to that ski area’s offer in the app. Near the bottom, select Tap here to view confirmation. The barcode will remain visible for 24 hours after redemption.

Which ski areas allow advance reservations?

Bretton Woods, Gunstock Mountain Resort, Loon Mountain Resort, and Pats Peak.

To book, follow the “Redeem an Offer in Advance” steps shown in the third video tutorial on the Passport page to receive your voucher number.

Multiple Kids

We have two eligible kids. How do I include them both in our Ski NH Passport account?
When you sign up initially, there is a dropdown bar to add and pay for a second child. If you neglected to do this, please contact a Ski NH staff member at passports@skinh.com. We can add the child and take credit card information over the phone.

What if my 6th-grader wanted to get a passport last year but couldn't?
Unfortunately, only current 4th and 5th graders are eligible. We know this is disappointing, but we must follow the program’s guidelines.

Program Details

Can I use the Passport at any ski area I choose?
No. Each child receives one specific offer for each of the 32 participating ski areas.

How much does the Passport cost?
$59 per child.

Are there extra offers or discounts included?
No, just the free ticket to each ski area.

Can out-of-state students participate?
Yes—any 4th or 5th grader may apply.

What counts as proof of grade?
Accepted forms include:  

• Report card or progress report
• Letter from the school stating current enrollment in 4th or 5th grade

• Screenshot of your child’s school portal showing their current grade and the date

How do I submit proof of grade?
Upload a photo, scan, or screenshot directly to the application.

How long will it take to process my Passport?
Typically 2–3 business days after we receive your proof of grade. During peak launch periods, processing may take longer.
