Mt. Washington Cup Nordic Race
![]() Join us for this 47th annual 10k Freestyle (skate ski) Race, which is part of the ZAK Cup Series. Located on the grounds of the historic Mount Washington Hotel and the White Mountain National Forest, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest cross country areas in the East. The 100-km trail network crosses open fields, meanders through woods of spruce and fir, passes beaver ponds and mountain streams, and traverses open hardwood stands. Please call the Bretton Woods Nordic Center at 603-278-3322 for more information. Online registration deadline is March 4, 2022.

![]() Strap into your snowshoes, board the Tiger Lift with your guide and group and ride to the top, then enjoy a leisurely trek along the mountain ridge on the Belknap Range Trail back down to the base area. Great for couples, groups of friends, and anyone interested in checking out Gunstock from a different point of view. Our guides lead your traverse, and are with the group throughout the excursion. Snowshoes and headlamps are included.

![]() Party on the Snow is the primary fundraiser for the amazing Lakes Region Disabled Sports Adaptive program, and proceeds go a long way in helping this organization! This event takes place at the LRDS Adaptive Building and includes lift ticket, breakfast, BBQ lunch, t-shirt, costume contest and prize raffles.

![]() Previously known as the Tyler Davis Hip Jam, this legendary event is back in full effect in its original location: Blundersmoke Park! This community favorite is a snowboard-only event open to all ages: put the finishing touches on your cleanest tricks and come get sendy for sweet prizes and slope cred. Sponsors include: Gunstock Ski & Sport Shop, TowPro, Woodshed Roasting Co., Liquid Death, Lib Tech, and 686. Proceeds will be donated to the Chill Foundation, an organization that inspires youth to overcome challenges through boardsports. This event is exciting to witness: spectators welcome! Spectators must have lift ticket or pass to ride the chairlift, however, folks may hike up the side of Blundersmoke to view the event if they wish. We recommend working your own runs into the day!

To kick off a month of fund raising we’ll host a fun race on Time Zone to celebrate Bill’s life and love for skiing. Registration and Silent Auction will be in the Family Room. You can bid on an auction item prior to race day by sending an email to carol.c.cunningham@gmail.com. Silent Auction will close at 3 pm on Race Day. Times will be posted on a leaderboard so you can challenge your friends or just see where you place. Race time will be 11 am until 1 or so. All racers will receive medals instead of placement medals. Competition will be for fun with times posted on the leaderboard. |

King Pine Cardboard Box Derby
![]() Build a cardboard box vessel (for two or four racers) with your own theme and head down our special race course. Cardboard box entrees must be built entirely out of cardboard (no wood or metal allowed). Boxes may be held together with tape, glue or stitched. Contestants are encouraged to wear helmets.

![]() The Last Run Lūʻau Pond Skim is back at Waterville Valley! We've planned an extraordinary day of complimentary springtime festivities - with the pond skim competition on Exhibition, yard game tournaments, and live music hosted in the courtyard. Pond skimming registration is free with a valid lift ticket or season pass, but we will be capping registration at 75 competitors. If you want a shot at skimming the infamous pond, be sure to get here early! Registration will be held from 9-10am in the Base Lodge on the second floor. The Pond Skim will kick-off at approximately 11am at the bottom of Exhibition. Spectators - otherwise known as “Beach Bums” - are welcome to watch and cheer as competitors splash their way across the pond. Event Schedule - Saturday, April 2nd 9–10am - Pond Skim Registration - 2nd floor of the Base Lodge 11am-12pm - Pond Skimming Event - Base Area/Bottom of Exhibition 11am-4pm - Yard game tournaments in the Courtyard 11:30am-12:30pm - Live Entertainment: Band TBD 1-2pm - Live Entertainment: Best Not Broken 2:30-4pm - Live Entertainment: Town Meeting

![]() B.Y.O.D.C. means: Bring Your Own Dry Clothes! End the season with a splash and come participate in our annual B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim on Saturday, April 2nd! This fun and hilarious competition is open to all ages brave enough to attempt to cross our manmade pond at the base of the slopes. Wear your favorite costume and show us your swagger and pizzazz as you make your way across, but make sure your water skiing skills are up to snuff, or you could end up in the drink!! --that's where the dry clothes come in! Prizes will be awarded for Best Cross, Best Splash, and Best Costume, so dress to impress!! Need help figuring out what kind of outfit to rock? Check out this throwback blog post for a handy costume guide! Registration is $20 for guests, $10 for Gunstock employees. ALL proceeds will benefit the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction! #itsforthekids Whether or not you decide to attempt to skim the pond, join us for a party at the Stockade Lodge! There will be grilling, beer, and prizes!

The Turtle Ridge Foundation (TRF), established by Olympic medalist and four-time world skiing champion Bode Miller, his family and Cannon Mountain, will host BodeFest at Cannon Mountain Ski Area on April 2, 2022. 100% of the event registration fee will benefit The Turtle Ridge Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting innovative and progressive adaptive and youth athletic opportunities in our communities. There will also be a Silent Online Auction (March 25-April 3) & Live Auction benefiting the Foundation - open to everyone. |
