We love our locals! This winter, residents of Belknap County will enjoy special perks every Monday, all season long! Be sure to bring proof of residency (tax bill, driver's license, etc.) each Monday and receive these perks:

o Two Lift Tickets for the Price of One

o Residents of Belknap County who are Season Pass Holders may purchase a half price lift ticket for a buddy

o Two Cross Country Trail Passes for the Price of One

o Second guest does not need to be a Belknap County resident for any of the above

Dartmouth Skiway 4th Annual Pond Skim All Day

Dartmouth Ski Patrol is planning their 4th (non-COVID) Annual Pond Skim on April 2nd. We hope everyone comes out for a day of sun, skims, prizes, and music. More details to come as we get closer, but plan on coming out and celebrating the end of the season and supporting Dartmouth Ski Patrol. And in the meantime, relive the fun of our 2nd Annual Pond Skim from 2018!

The Turtle Ridge Foundation (TRF), established by Olympic medalist and four-time world skiing champion Bode Miller, his family and Cannon Mountain, will host BodeFest at Cannon Mountain Ski Area on April 2, 2022. 100% of the event registration fee will benefit The Turtle Ridge Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting innovative and progressive adaptive and youth athletic opportunities in our communities. There will also be a Silent Online Auction (March 25-April 3) & Live Auction benefiting the Foundation - open to everyone.

B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim
B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim All Day

B.Y.O.D.C. means: Bring Your Own Dry Clothes!

End the season with a splash and come participate in our annual B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim on Saturday, April 2nd! This fun and hilarious competition is open to all ages brave enough to attempt to cross our manmade pond at the base of the slopes. Wear your favorite costume and show us your swagger and pizzazz as you make your way across, but make sure your water skiing skills are up to snuff, or you could end up in the drink!! --that's where the dry clothes come in! Prizes will be awarded for Best Cross, Best Splash, and Best Costume, so dress to impress!! Need help figuring out what kind of outfit to rock? Check out this throwback blog post for a handy costume guide!

Registration is $20 for guests, $10 for Gunstock employees. ALL proceeds will benefit the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction! #itsforthekids

Whether or not you decide to attempt to skim the pond, join us for a party at the Stockade Lodge! There will be grilling, beer, and prizes!

  • Registration will be available online and at the Historic Lodge: 9am-11am
  • There will be a BBQ and beer garden on site
  • Live Music from B. Man & the Kid from 12-4pm
  • B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim: 12pm-2pm
LAST RUN LŪʻAU POND SKIM
LAST RUN LŪʻAU POND SKIM All Day

The Last Run Lūʻau Pond Skim is back at Waterville Valley! We've planned an extraordinary day of complimentary springtime festivities - with the pond skim competition on Exhibition, yard game tournaments, and live music hosted in the courtyard.

Pond skimming registration is free with a valid lift ticket or season pass, but we will be capping registration at 75 competitors. If you want a shot at skimming the infamous pond, be sure to get here early! Registration will be held from 9-10am in the Base Lodge on the second floor. The Pond Skim will kick-off at approximately 11am at the bottom of Exhibition. Spectators - otherwise known as “Beach Bums” - are welcome to watch and cheer as competitors splash their way across the pond.

Event Schedule - Saturday, April 2nd

9–10am - Pond Skim Registration - 2nd floor of the Base Lodge

11am-12pm - Pond Skimming Event - Base Area/Bottom of Exhibition

11am-4pm - Yard game tournaments in the Courtyard

11:30am-12:30pm - Live Entertainment: Band TBD

1-2pm - Live Entertainment: Best Not Broken

2:30-4pm - Live Entertainment: Town Meeting

POND SKIM
POND SKIM All Day

Our signature end of season event, which takes place on Village Green. This event typically draws a large crowd and costumes are encouraged!

Rider’s Meeting: 11:00am

Skimmer’s Meeting will take place at starting area.

Start Time: 11:15am

Event will be an open-format event, from 11:00am until 1:00pm pm or until contestants are finished with their runs, which ever happens first.

Awards: 3:00pm Endorsed by Monster Energy and Coca-Cola

Limit 50 people, ages 12+, Registration 8-11:30 at Guest Services. Try to make it across the pond for a chance to win big prizes from Blizzard Skis and Chutters Candy Shop. Event at 12:30pm.
