*Registration is full for this event. The annual Kainen M. Flynn Memorial Fishing Derby is back for 2022! Please join members of the Gilford Police Relief Association for this free fishing event for our youth at Gunstock. Kids under 16 are able to fish without a fee or license for the event and there will be food, prizes and fun! Registration begins at 8am.

Immerse yourself in extraordinary views of the Great Gulf Wilderness at the base of Mount Washington while you make your way through the beautiful trails at the Glen in a race that's 100% New Hampshire. 10 mile course: Tackle single track, muddy bogs, carriage roads, and a river crossing in this course made up of three loops run in sequential order. Challenge yourself to run it as an individual, or run with a team of three (each to run one loop)! 10am mass start. 3 mile course: Run the first loop of the longer course to experience the ups and downs, twists and turns and single track in a bite-sized distance! For trail running novices and experienced runners alike. 10am mass start.

The Belknap County Sportsmen's Club will be holding their annual Free Kids' Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 6! No need to pre-register, just come on up and fish with us from 9am-noon!

The American Red Cross will be on site at Gunstock holding a blood drive in the Historic Lodge. Advanced registration advised.

Single and Ready to Mingle? Join us at the Whaleback singles party on the outdoor deck Friday, June 17th. Come socialize with other singles on the outdoor deck at Whaleback. Enjoy some barbeque and a special cocktail. Cash bar will be open. Enjoy some lawn games with friends and meet new people! Doors open at 5:30 for cocktail hour, speed dating event starts at 6:30. You can choose to speed date or just come and meet new people! When registering for this event, some drop down questions will be asked so we can pair you with other singles that match. There is a chance that someone registered does not get a chance to speed date because we were unable to match up your requirements. The format for such an event involves short, 3 to 10 minute face-to-face sessions with each available match. Once you add the ticket to your cart, the form will ask how you identify and who you are interested in meeting. That way, we can match people up appropriately. Each participant will get a speed dating sheet to record their dates' names and to mark if they would be interested in another date. The next day, Whaleback will review the speed dating sheets from each round and look for a match. If you receive a mutual yes with someone you speed dated with, Whaleback will send you their contact information via email.
